This sorry sight was sitting in Alicante airport in Spain.
It's an incredibly dusty abandoned Lamborghini Gallardo
Spyder which is anchored up in the short term car park.
During its time there it appears that almost every single
passing tourist has inscribed there own witty words into
the sand covered paintwork - it'll need more than a wash
to bring the shine back to that black paint! The front
badge has also been swiped, and an attempt to take the
rear 'Lamborghini' badge has resulted in the L and A being
snapped away from the other letters.
While trying to guess as to why anyone would leave their
supercar in such a strange place, we came to the conclusion
that it's probably stolen, and was used as a 'hire' car
to get to the airport. Either that or the owner is completely
insane and treats high value motors as disposable.
It's certainly not the only abandoned car at the airport,
there is literally dozens of cars sitting there collecting
dust, but most of them are old, beat up cars (mostly UK
registered). However there's an older 911 Targa which
looks pretty unloved but worthy of some TLC.
