The
1969 Chrysler Concept 70X had two unusual features. Firstly
it had sliding doors, two on the drivers side, and one on the
passenger side. And secondly it had an ultrasonic rear proximity
warning system that alerted the driver to traffic within a 50-foot
radius of the rear.
