The Beechcraft Starship is an unorthodox canard style aircraft.
The Beechcraft Starship was intended as a luxury small aircraft. It was built from composite materials and was very advanced. It did not sell well though - partly due to its unusual design, and only 53 Starships were built.

Designed by Burt Rutan of Scaled Composites, a Beechcraft Starship was used as the primary chase plane for the SpaceShipOne private manned sub orbital flight.
