T-Bar Roof

A T-bar roof is a roof which has two removable panels, often made from glass. One panel is above the driver and the other above the passenger. Running centrally down the length of the roof is a single fixed bar which is immovable. This bar is what gives the roof its 'T' shape, and name. With the panels removed but the centre overhead bar still in place, occupants can enjoy a the benefits of a convertible but the rollover safety of a hardtop.
