Airdam

An airdam is a metal or plastic foil or spoiler, often located under the front bumper of a car, and shaped so as to reduce the flow of turbulent air under the chassis. As well as lowering the drag on a vehicle, an air dam may also reduce lift and increase airflow to the radiator.
