Anti-Roll
Bar
An anti-roll bar is a device that helps a vehicle stay balanced
and avoid rolling over while making a tight corner. An anti-roll
bar (ARB) does not affect the stiffness of the suspension when both wheels are deflected equally in
the same direction. Also called a stabilizer bar, anti-sway
bar, or a roll bar, it connects opposite wheels together with
short lever arms that are linked by a torsion spring.
