Coupe
Deville
A
coupe deville, also known as a town coupe, was originally
a two-door, four-passenger car with a convertible roof (removable
top) over the front seats and a fixed roof over the rear seats.
Later, the name became applied to two-door cars, with fixed
roofs the front part of which was covered in fabric or otherwise
designed to look like as if it were convertible. Cadillac
Coupe DeVilles are two-door cars with steel roofs all the
way across.
