Diffuser
A
diffuser is an air flow management feature sometimes found at the
rear of high performance sports cars and racing vehicles. The diffuser
rapidly and neatly funnels air from underneath the car out the back.
This creates an area of low pressure underneath the car which helps
to 'suck' the car to the road and improve high speed handling.
