Engine Capacity

Engine capacity is the total volume of all the cylinders in a car's engine added together and expressed in cubic centimeters (cc) or, more frequently, liters. So, an engine with a capacity of 1598cc will be referred to as a 1.6-liter unit. Generally, the bigger an engine's capacity, the more performance it will be able to produce.
