Flywheel

Located at the gearbox end of the crankshaft, the flywheel helps to balance out the up-and-down
action of the pistons and ensure the smooth running of the engine. The
transmission system is also connected at the flywheel.
Essentially, the flywheel is a spinning wheel attached to
a motor, and serves as a mechanical battery for storing kinetic energy.
