Greenhouse
(vehicle)
The
greenhouse is the part of an automobile that lies above the
beltline and that, as the name suggests, includes the
vehicle’s windows, roof, and supporting members (pillars).
The term “greenhouse” as applied to cars began to be commonly
used in the early 1960s when a more fully glazed appearance
emerged from the use of larger glass areas, and side windows
with separate frames.
