Hybrid drive

A vehicle which has a hybrid drivetrain is one which is powered by more than one source. This could mean it is partially powered by a petrol engine and partially powered by an electric motor. Or it could mean that it is part hydrogen internal combustion engine powered and part solar powered. As long as a vehicle has two or more different sources of power, whether they are dependent or independent, it is a hybrid vehicle.
