NOx

NOx (Oxides of Nitrogen). NOx is a pollutant gas which can be emitted by petrol and diesel engines. Depending on local laws and legislature NOx emissions are one of the pollutants which may be checked for during servicing and maintenance. NOx is only created during high temperature running of the engine. A common cause of high NOx emissions is a faulty EGR valve.
