Oxygen Sensor

An oxygen sensor, also known as a Lambda sensor or an O2 sensor, is a device located in the exhaust manifold which senses the levels of oxygen in the exhaust gases. This information is then sent to the engine's ECU in order to allow the engine to burn the correct amount of fuel as efficiently as possible.
