Phaeton
Phaeton
is a term describing a four-door open-top touring car. The
name (pronounced “fay-ton”) comes from the Greek mythological
"Phaeton" who drove the chariot of his sun-god father. A sportif
was a narrow type of phaeton. Volkswagen also chose the name
for their luxury sedan the Volkswagen
Phaeton.
