Plasma-Assisted Catalysis

Plasma-assisted catalysis is a diesel exhaust treatment system that uses a small amount of electricity from the engine to generate a nonthermal plasma (NTP) on a ceramic surface. The resulting reaction can reduce nitrogen oxides and particulates by up to 90% without onboard chemicals or heating.
