Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection (SEFI)
Sequential
electronic fuel injection is a type of fuel injection system
in which the timing of fuel injection is such as to coincide
with a cylinder's intake stroke. In a SEFI system each cylinder
is equipped with its own injector. The injectors open sequentially,
one at a time, in conjunction with the opening of each cylinder.
The result is improved engine performance and faster throttle
response when the driver makes a sudden change.
