Thermostat
A thermostat is a component in a vehicles engine cooling system
which helps regulate temperature by controlling the flow of
cooling fluid between the cylinder block (which is hot) and
the radiator (which is cooler). A faulty or sticking thermostat
is a common cause of engine overheating.
