Throttle Linkage

The set of components and connections that uses the foot pressure on the accelerator (gas) pedal to control the amount of fuel going into the carburetor or fuel injectors (see fuel injection). The throttle linkage consists of one or more rods, cables, springs, and metal plates between the car's firewall and carburetor or injectors.
