V
Engine

A 'V' engine is a common configuration for an internal combustion
engine, in which the pistons are aligned in such a way that
they take on a V-shape when viewed along the line of the crankshaft.
The two most common forms of V engine are the V6 and V8, however
V10's and V12's are also regularly found in high performance
vehicles. V4 engines are becoming increasingly popular for
high performance motorcycles.
