Mount Kilimanjaro is located at the north-eastern tip of Tanzania
in Africa. To reach the mountain you must travel through forests
that vary with the altitude and finally open out into open moorland
below the rock strewn snow covered Kibo plateau. Kilimanjaro
can be climbed at any time of year however during April, May
and November it is the rainy season. You can go on 5,7 or 8
day guided climbs to the summit at the 19,340 ft or 5,985M (uhuru
peak).
