One of the only man made objects visible from space this vast
structure streches for 4,163 miles from east to west China.
Built more than 2000 years ago some sections of the wall are
in disrepair others however are in amazing condition.
The wall was originally built to resist invasion by the Huns
in the north after the unification of china. There are many
popular sections of the wall to visit but one area in good condition
and in a reasonably natural state is Simatai about 65 miles
north east of Beijing. |
