The Sportster family is as rich in heritage as it is in torque.
Take a glance at the 1200 Custom. The appeal is instant. Then
take it for a run down the boulevard and good gets even better.
We did this one up by first taking it down. It sits lower, thanks
to a new seat and frame. The slotted chrome disc rear wheel
wears a wide tire, nicely balancing out the swept-back handlebar
and pullback riser. Power is big and immediate, with the rubber-mounted,
chrome-covered Evolution engine. The high-compression, high-flow
heads and performance cams get you going. The 4.5-gallon tank
keeps you going longer. Just like the custom theme. Forward
foot controls. Bullet headlight. And a brand-new optional Profile
Laced wheel, shown here. In fact, theres so much custom
