The Apex Motorsport Jaguar XKR Coupe is intended for use in
the FIA GT3 Euro Series beginning 2007.
Apex Motorsport, who are independent of Jaguar, belive that
the aluminium chassis coupled with a racing rollcage will be
amongst the best in class for rigidity. Power comes from a supercharged
V8.
While the Apex Motorsport XKR Coupe is being developed without
the help of Jaguar, Jaguar are keen to see the car in action.

and Public Affairs, Premier Automotive Group and Ford of Europe:
“There is a great buzz surrounding the launch of the XKR
and this GT3 programme is going to reinforce the sporting credentials
of the XK range even further. The XKR is undoubtedly a great

that its lightweight body structure provides an ideal platform
for building a GT3 race car. We're really looking forward to
seeing the car run for the first time."
