After
first replacing the BMW Z4 M roadster's body with a lightweight
carbon fibre
shell, tuning company TC Kline Racing have turned their attention
to the BMW Z4 Coupe in a similar manner. The result is a car
weighing 233 kgs (515 lbs) less than the standard Z4.
The all-carbon fibre body is around 50 mm (2 inches) wider than
the standard Z4, with a deeper front bumper, more pronounced
side skirts and a rear diffuser all adding to the aerodynamic
abilities of the car.
Performance parts which TC Kline have integrated into the Z4
Coupe's redesign include; hi-performance brake rotors and calipers,
a lightweight flywheel, lighter battery and 18" wheels.
