German tuning company edo Competition have created a range of
performance and styling products for the entry level Ferrari
model, the California Spider.
On offer are a range 20 and 21 inch wheel and tire combinations
which are designed to compliment the California Spider's lines
and show off the high performance brakes. A lowering kit which
drops the car by 35mm front and rear is also available. This
sport suspension is adjustable in both compression and rebound
damping, allowing for a custom tailored ride for cruising, performance
driving, or racing.
The power output of the 4.3 litre V8 engine of the edo Competition
Ferrari California Spider is enhanced thanks to a recalibrated
ECU. After reprogramming the production ECU, the engine now
generates 500 horsepower (367 kW) and 369 ft-lb of torque at
5,200 rpm. In addition to the recalibrated electronics edo competition
can install a newly-developed high performance exhaust system
featuring adjustable butterfly valves and custom designed high
flow catalytic converters.
The interior of the Edo Competition Ferrari California Spider
can be tailored to suit the buyers tastes with custom leather
upholstery.
