The Chevrolet SuperUte is a Corvette-engined ute produced by
the South African tuning company LupiniPower.
The LupiniPower Chevrolet SuperUte's engine is a 6.0 litre supercharged
V8 which produces 535bhp @ 5,600rpm and 590lb-ft of torque @
3,400rpm. It only takes 4.8 seconds to hit 60 mph, 9.9 seconds
to reach 100 mph, and it'll continue on to a 175 mph top speed.
And it can do all that while also being able to carry significantly
more cargo than any sports car on the market. This is a serious
performer you can also write off as a 'business expense'.
LupiniPower's modifications haven't stopped with the engine
either. Other changes include bigger race-specification front
disc brakes (350mm) and 4-piston callipers, subtle suspension
modifications to improve the handling, and gorgeous 20"
wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE050 ultra-high performance
tires.
Cost options for potenital LupiniPower Chevrolet SuperUte buyers
include a full Bilstein suspension system and a limited-slip
differential .
