The
Mercedes-Benz Brabus Bullit is a highly-modified C-Class powered
by a 6.3 litre, twin-turbo, V12 developing 720 horsepower and
1,320Nm (974 lb-ft) of torque, although output is electronically
limited to 1,100Nm (811 lb-ft) to preserve the gearbox and tires.
The new engine uses special pistons and connecting rods, larger
turbochargers, more efficient intercoolers, and a high-flow
stainless-steel exhaust. Power is sent to the rear wheels through
a modified five-speed automatic transmission and a Brabus rear
locking differential with a locking rate of up to 40%.
The C-Class Brabus Bullit also receives a custom suspension
and brake package, which is designed to cope with the power
hike and added weight of the twin-turbo V12 engine. This comprises
of a height-adjustable coil-over shocks and sport sway bars
to improve handling. The brake package of the Brabus Bullit
consists of 12-piston aluminum calipers working in conjunction
with vented and grooved 380mm discs up front, and six-piston
calipers grabbing 360mm discs at the the rear.
The styling of the Mercedes Brabus Bullit is hardly subtle,
and consists of a new front and rear bumper, wider front and
rear wheel arches, badgeless grille, aluminium bonnet with integrated
vents, new 19" wheels and Alcantara trimmed interior.
