The
ART GTR tuning package for the Mercedes CLS AMG may not be to
every business executive's tastes but those with a more extroverted
personality may well appreciate the effort.
ART have upgraded the engine of the CLS AMG as well as the styling.
The engine now develops 560 horsepower, or 620 horsepower if
you don't think that's enough. The 0-60 time drops to 4.4 seconds,
4 for the GTR640. The track has been widened 70mm at the front
and 80mm at the rear. To cover the wheels the front and rear
arches have been flared and now feature lateral air intakes.
To keep the ride smooth, the ART CLS GTR features height adjustable,
semi-active air suspension.
Other cosmetic modifications to the standard CLS include; a
front lip spoiler with additional lighting, a badgeless grille,
a modified rear bumper with an integrated air diffuser, and
a tuner style rear wing which oddly doesn't look too bad.
The interior of the ART CLS GTR has been modified beginning
with blue courtesy step lights, and continuing with ever-so-tacky
monogrammed floor mats. Carbon
fibre and alacantra leather being the trim materials of
choice.
