The Concept One from German tuning outfit TechArt is one of
the first customized Porsche Panamera's to hit the market, coming just shortly after the SpeedArt PS9-650 Panamera.
Based on the Panamera Turbo the Concept One features the same
4.8 litre V8, but thanks to a stainless steel sports exhaust
power is increased. However its a little unclear as to how much
TechArt's modifications have made to the power output overall.
The standard Panamera Turbo makes 500 horsepower, yet according
to TechArt - in their own words - "A look under the
bonnet also knows how to convince the study. The TECHART engine
optic package with carbon fiber engine covering, TECHART logotype
and flash red coating already makes the visitor to the trade
fair stand feel the power of the Panamera Turbo increased
once again by TECHART with a power thrust of up to 150 hp."
- So apparently some paint and a carbon fiber engine cover takes
total power up to 650 hp?
The exterior design is a little easier to understand. It's the
usual tuning tweaks. Bigger intakes, wider stance, more vents
and more spoilers. However despite the fact the Panamera is
not a pretty car to begin with, TechArt's designers have done
a good job at improving the overall appearance.
The interior design gets a little crazy, but again it also has
a unique appearance which is not altogether unpleasant. For
the Concept One Panamera display model's interior is finished
in a cocoa and white leather color combination. Phosphor green
piping is used to provide highlights to various edges and seams.
White carpeting, a white headliner in alcantara, and white dials
with phosphor green digits completes the unusual individualization
program.
