The
2006 TechArt Boxster Widebody is based on the 987 Boxster model.
Extended front and rear arches make for an 8 cm increase in
width and better handling thanks to the wider wheel stance.
The front extensions don't just provide extra room inside the
arches, they also help circulate cooling air to the brakes,
while the rear intakes direct fresh air on to the centrally
placed engine.
The modified front spoiler of the Boxster Widebody increases
downforce over the front axle and provides cooling for the brakes.
The rear diffuser completes the exterior package.
Power for the TechArt Widebody Boxster can be increased with
a sports air filter and reprogrammed engine electronics - giving
an extra 15 hp.
