The TechArt Magnum, based on a twin turbo Porsche Cayenne is a powerful
SUV developing 600 horsepower and 865 Nm of torque from its
4.5 litre V8 engine. The Techart Magnum's engine is enhanced
by twin performance turbochargers, a high performance intercooler,
a sports air filter and a full length performance stainless
steel sports exhaust with chrome tailpipes.
The extended arches of the Cayenne Magnum add 8 centimeters
(3.2 inches) to the overall width, while helping to cover the
massive 10x22" wheels present on each corner, each wrapped
in high speed rated Continental tires.
The rest of the bodykit is equally impressive. The new TechArt
hood incorporates air outlets for cooling the engine, and the
front apron features larger air intakes and additional fog /
driving lights, while helping to increase front-end downforce.
The extended side sills help to blend the widened arches into
the Magnum's overall design, and the rear valence reduces lift
over the rear axle while allowing room for the four exhaust
outlets.
TechArt Automobildesign has also made changes to the light clusters,
the headlights feature a molded cover, and a three-piece tail
lamp cover and rear panel continue the shape of the rear valence
onto the tailgate.
TechArt has also made changes to the Cayenne's suspension. For
air adjustable suspension Cayenne models, on-road ride height
can be lowered by up to 60 mm, while off-road mode allows for
an increase of 70 mm.
