Honestly, the second worst thing I have ever bought in my life,
after my 306 Estate Car, which as you guessed is Peugeot too,
ironically!!!
Mine is on a 55 plate and VERY well cared for serviced every
2500 miles etc. After 4 years the exhaust system basically corroded
away and fused most of the bolts holding the exhaust system
on!! ha.
Also had 2 new tyres at cost of £36, yes that is correct £36
PER tyre. A new exhaust system was £190!! Which actually took
3 WEEKS to come into the country, thanks for your urgency guys.
In the mean time I only had to spend £90 on train fares, so
cheers.
Total this visit to garage: £355?!!?!!!?!!!??!
You would think that might be it, but NO, WAIT there is actually
more. Exactly 3 weeks after that, the engine cuts out with a
lorry up my backside at a roundabout, thanks again Peugeot.

So off we go to the garage. AGAIN. Sorry, did I mention on each
occasion I had to push the bloody thing to the garage. Not so
ha ha anymore.
Anyway, so now there is debris in the fuel tank and the carb
needs taking apart and cleaning for which they want over £100.
So the long and short of it in my experience is avoid Peugeot
like the plague, unless you enjoy wasting money on a machine
that really is not worth it.
My plan now is to fix carb at home and px it for a Honda or
Yamaha.......GOOD LUCK!!
