The 2009 Ski-doo Expedition is built on a new REV-XU platform
which is extremely rugged and strong, making it ideal
for utility and towing applications.
The Ski-doo Expedition is available with a choice of two
different engines, the Rotax 600 H.O. SDI or V-800 4-stroke
engine.
The 2009 Ski-doo Expedition is also equipped with useful
features like a 12V power socket, trailer hitch and Synchromesh
transmission for pulling heavy loads (up to 1100 lbs /
500 kgs).

This is one cold machine to ride. They must not have tested
it in a wind tunnel as the air/snow piles up behind the
driver and engulfs the rider. I have been riding snowmobiles
for 30 years and have never driven a more uncomfortable
machine, well maybe an Elan. Also, you'd think with the
wide track this sled would be stable, but if you tip even
a little bit you'll be on your side and it's a two MAN
job to get it turned back over. It does have power a plenty
and is geared low which is great for my purpose, but I
would not buy this machine again. |
