Bentley’s designers have decided to play around with the Continental GT’s styling, and in the process they’ve come up with a special order model called the Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Styling Specification.
The new Mulliner Styling Specification’s Classic Pack features a restyled front bumper splitter, strakes integrated into the front intake grilles, side extension blades and a rear diffuser, all made from high-gloss, black carbon-fibre. On top of these upgrades, Bentley’s designers have developed a number of other components which can be individually added to the car depending on the buyer’s tastes. These include; a carbon-fibre rear spoiler and door mirror cowls as well as distinctive, black-painted 21-inch 7-spoke alloy wheels and dark mesh front wing vents with black carbon-fibre bezels.
Raul Pires, Bentley’s head of exterior design, and the man responsible for both the Continental GT and the Mulliner Styling Specification package commented on his latest creation: “The Mulliner Styling Specification, with its sharper lines and darker, lower appearance subtly underscores the extrovert, flamboyant nature of our new Coupe. It delivers a more personalised, sportive interpretation of a luxurious, refined GT.”
Whether you you like the look of the new option is a matter of personal taste. But there’s no doubt that the Mulliner Styling Specification, despite its dull-sounding name, does inject some extra sportiness into the big coupe’s lines.
