Porsche 911 Turbo S China Edition

Porsche 911 China Edition

Porsche is currently celebrating its tenth year in what is currently the fastest growing car market in the world, China. In order to mark their first decade in the country, Porsche have created a special edition version of the 911 Turbo S.

The 911 Turbo S China Edition doesn’t get any mechanical upgrades, so owners will have to make do with the standard Turbo S’ 530 horsepower, twin turbocharged flat-six engine and PDK (dual clutch) transmission. It’ll be hard, but hopefully they can cope!

The China Edition’s only real changes are in the styling department. The majority of the bodywork is finished in a Gold Bronze Metallic color, with the mirror covers, headlight surrounds, rear wing and front trunk lid all being replaced with unpainted carbon fiber units. The standard wheels have been replaced with black-colored 19-inch retro style wheels borrowed from the 911 Sport Classic.

The interior of the Porsche 911 Turbo S China Edition is upholstered in vast swathes of Alcantara, with contrasting gold colored stitching. A numbered plaque advertises the cars special edition-ness.

If all that sounds appealing. Then hopefully you’re living in China, and can get down to your local Porsche dealer before all 10 examples are sold.
