Race Car Technical Illustrations

Fiesta S2000

The man responsible for these amazing technical drawings of race cars is Roy Scorer, a technical illustrator whose nine-to-five involves creating detailed technical illustrations for the MOD. In his spare time he creates finely crafted images of a variety of different race cars. We’ve covered some of his previous works in the past, including the Anatomy of a National Hot Rod, and the Anatomy of a V8 Stock Car. This time around we’ve been sent five images, showing five different race cars in all their HD glory.

All of Roy’s work is for sale and can be found and can be found through a variety of outlets. Including:

In addition, if you happen to have a race car of your own, Roy would be more than happy to create a unique work of art for your garage wall. Prices start at £300 (roughly $435), and for that you get a DVD of all photos taken, all the artwork in original state, plus artwork at different sizes – even up to life size. Also included are a range of files for printing for large format posters, exhibition etc. down to smaller ones for A4, postcard type printing, and then various files for the  web so you can add them to websites, Facebook etc.

The cost then starts to go up from there depending on the car, what level of detail the artwork requires and any added extras.

Thanks to Roy Scorer for the images and info.

P.S. All the images displayed here are Roy’s property. So don’t go using them for commercial reasons without his permission!
