CoverEFX are a German tuning company who specialize in applying automotive vinyl wraps. They’ve done the MINI before too, their last one featured a ghastly Louis Vuitton-inspired wrap and gold accented wheels. Thankfully this time they’ve gone for a slightly more tasteful look.
Based on the pre-2007 MINI, the CoverEFX MINI Cooper S features the obvious modifications to the shiny side, but they’ve also made some minor modifications to the oily bits which sees the MINI’s 1.6 litre turbocharged engine get a hike in output to 240 horsepower.
The CoverEFX MINI Cooper S R53 is also fitted with lowered sports suspension to give the car an even more sporty stance which compliments the blacked-out 17-inch multispoke wheels.
If you like the look of the CoverEFX MINI Cooper S R53 and want to apply the same sort of treatment to your own MINI then start saving. The conversion costs €8,000 (roughly $11,400), which seems a little bit unreasonable to us.
