Fisker Automotive are set to pull the covers off their latest vehicle at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show – which opens its doors on the 13th of September. The car, as is so often the case nowadays, is being previewed by a discreet teaser sketch which shows the car in shadowy profile.
Fisker say the Surf is an electric vehicle with a range extending internal combustion engine acting as a generator. The setup is much the same as that used in the gorgeous Fisker Karma luxury sedan.
Fisker Automotive are keeping the details of the Surf a secret for now. But in about a weeks time the full specs, images and information will be published. For now the only snippet of information is that according to the company; “… the Fisker Surf delivers a bold new twist and is sure to ‘wow’ global audiences with its combination of Uncompromised Responsible Luxury and head-turning design.”
