Today Hyundai has provided the world with its first image of their latest concept car. The car, named the i-oniq, will be used to showcase the next evolution of the company’s ‘fluidic sculpture’ design ethos. The Hyundai i-oniq was developed at the company’s European research and development facility in Rüsselsheim, Germany.
In describing the Hyundai i-oniq concept, Thomas Bürkle, Hyundai’s top designer in Europe, said: “Two strong arched curves define the silhouette of i-oniq, creating a playful contrast between the sharp character lines and soft but muscular features.”
More information about the Hyundai i-oniq will be revealed ahead of its world debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March.
