The Mangusta Legacy concept is a reincarnation of the classic De Tomaso Mangusta supercar. The concept was developed by designer and illustrator Maxime de Keiser.
The Mangusta Legacy concept has an extremely low and aerodynamic profile which is directly inspired by the original car. However whereas the original Mangusta had clean and uncluttered bodywork, the Legacy has a number of additional air intakes, vents and spoilers. And while the steeply raked windscreen of the Mangusta Legacy might look ludicrously sleek, unless you’re star gazing, it’s next to useless for seeing what’s in front of you.
Maxime de Keiser comments on the Mangusta Legacy concept: “Like the original, it had to be spectacular and communicate an impression of wild ferocity and power while recalling the serenity of a feline at rest, and the elegance of the animal that doesn’t need to fear anything”.
