The Peugeot Urban Crossover Concept is a dynamic-looking compact crossover vehicle which was unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. The Peugeot Urban Crossover concept is a truly international vehicle, it was developed through a joint project between Peugeot designers in Paris, Shanghai and Sao Paulo. Despite being a crossover vehicle with some degree of off-road capability, the concept is aimed at young urbanites – but urban-types who want a vehicle capable of the occasional countryside detour.
The Peugeot Urban Crossover concept features a number of the company’s latest styling cues. Including a ‘smiling’ front grille, new-style Peugeot badge, three-line rear taillights, and an aluminium spoiler and double bubble roof inspired by the RCZ Sports Coupe.
Peugeot haven’t yet made any announcement regarding the production possibilities for the Urban Crossover Concept. However the fact its clearly been designed to appeal to a worldwide audience, and also it’s not too over-the-top in terms of gadgets, materials, layout, styling or drivetrain, mean it could be the first glimpse of a new compact crossover from Peugeot.
