According to unnamed Porsche insiders talking to UK car mag Autocar, the company is working on a wagon version of the Panamera. At the moment the car is just a concept, and it’s expected to debut at the Paris Motor Show later this year. If there’s enough positive reaction to the car then it could make the leap from concept car to production vehicle.
Autocar say the Porsche Panamera wagon will be designed to offer style over maximum load-carrying capability. That means a more coupe-like roofline than a vertical hatchback-esq rear window. The rest of the car will remain more or less unaltered.
As well as the Panamera wagon concept Porsche’s designers and engineers are said to be working on a long wheelbase version of the car and a two-door version. Which kinda begs the question, what’s wrong with the 911?
