The Jaguar C-X17 was a very production-ready looking concept unveiled in 2013. And while the Jaguar C-X17 concept wasn’t the most exciting looking SUV on the planet, it is handsome, and it wears Jaguar’s current design style very well. It might be seen as sacrilege by Jag purists, but somehow it looks natural, and oddly it rather suits the company’s upmarket image. And of course, with Jaguar having all the expertise of Land Rover at their fingertips, it should be able to push through the mud when required.
…But of course it never will, because the only people who will buy the production version of the C-X17 will be people who live in impossibly tidy suburban streets, with driveways so clean you could safely perform surgery right there on the floor. It’s hard to imagine a farmer using one to haul bales of hay around in.
