The Kenwood KDC-W7544U features a 5-line variable color LCD display
which helps display track, song or radio station information clearly
and quickly. The color of the illumination for the control knobs is
also adjustable meaning that the lighting of the whole head unit can
be tailored to match the rest of the dashboard lighting.
Searching for a specific track amongst thousands stored on a portable
music storage device is made much easier and faster as album, artist
and track information are displayed simultaneously. Song/track searching
can be done without interrupting playback.
iPhone/iPod music compatibility is ensured thanks to Apple's full
licensing, and a 3.5mm jack socket. An internal Digital Sound Processor
allows the adjustment of signal Time Alignment to each speaker and
selection of specific EQ settings for iPod/iPhone music playback.
The KDC-W7544U is Bluetooth hands-free capable using an optional interface
(Kenwood part no. KCA-BT200).
