20/10/2010: Climbing into one of Spyker's cars is sometimes described as being similar to putting on a fine suit. The level of craftsmanship, style and detailing is right up there with the world's best manufacturers. And considering how popular branded high-end watches are with high-end car manufacturers, it's a wonder that it's taken Spyker this long to get in on the watch making party.

The Spyker watches were designed and engineered by Thierry Chaunu of Expression D'Artistes International S.A., the Spyker-branded chronographs are available in solid 18K gray or rose gold finishes, each of which is limited to a run of 250, or in polished steel or matt black titanium finishes, each of which is limited to a run of 1000 each. The quilted leather bracelets, available in Dutch Spyker Orange, Black Anthracite or Blanc de Blanc white, are hand-stitched in France using Royal Dutch Hulshof leather, the same leather used in Spyker's supercar interiors.

The bezel carries Spyker's Latin motto: NULLA TENACI INVIA EST VIA - 'For the tenacious no road is impassable' - y'know because that's what every watch was missing before, a pointless motto.

The crown replicates the Dutch brand's wire-spoke and propeller bonnet badge. The chronographs’ push buttons mimic Spyker exhaust pipes, while the steel "bouchonné" dial was inspired by the turned aluminium finish of the Spyker dashboards.
