The Evantra was originally called the Mugello, after one of Italy's most famous race circuits. However just seven days after being revealed to the world it was renamed the Evantra, after the Etruscan goddess of immortality. Obviously.
To accompany the name change, F&M also released a number of specifications and details of the Evantra. Surprisingly, for a company which previously preferred traditional V-configuration engines, power comes from a 3.5 litre flat-six engine which comes in either naturally aspirated (403 hp) or twin turbocharged (603 hp) variants. Faralli and Mazzanti say the twin-turbo Evantra can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds.
The Faralli and Mazzanti Evantra is based around a steel space frame chassis. The car can be ordered with either composite body panels, or more traditional hand crafted aluminium bodywork. The more expensive aluminium body option can be customised to suit the buyers tastes - effectively creating a one-off supercar.
F&M originally stated that production numbers of the now-renamed Mugello would not exceed five cars a year. They're keeping that promise with the Evantra.
