Rolls-Royce 450EX yacht

If you want a bespoke car, you can't do much better than a Rolls-Royce. Designer Stefan Monro - who did his internship at the British company - thinks they'd be just as good at building luxury yachts as they are at building luxury cars. And his Rolls-Royce 450EX yacht concept is pretty good evidence.

The Rolls-Royce 450EX yacht was partially inspired by the Rolls-Royce Phantom, it even features the large, imposing rectangular grille and "Spirit of Ecstasy" ornament familiar to all Rollers. And while the concept is not officially associated with Rolls-Royce, Monro was assisted with the design direction during his internship. In short. If Rolls-Royce were to make a luxury yacht, then there's a good chance it would look something similar to this.

Measuring in at over 47 feet (14.5 metres) the 450EX would certainly be the largest vehicle Rolls-Royce has ever built. But despite its size it only has seating for six inside its automotive-inspired cockpit. Designed as a coastal day cruiser there are no bedrooms or kitchen facilities, although at the bow of the vessel is a small bathroom and seating area below the main cockpit.

There is no mention of what sort of engines would be fitted in the 450EX yacht. Although the clearly visible propellers on either side of the hull suggest it would more than likely feature dual engines.
