The Lincoln Machete concept was one of the vehicles introduced
at the 1988 Chicago Motor Show.
The styling of the Lincoln Machete hasn't dated well.
It may have looked fairly sleek when it was introduced,
however the incoherent, slightly droopy styling hasn't
stood the test of time.
One of the more unusual features of the Machete is the
dark band which runs around the entirety of the vehicle.
This is used to house both the headlights and taillights
within one continuos surface.
The interior of the Lincoln Machete is very simple and
uncluttered. The dashboard curves neatly around the steering
wheel and features an LCD display.
