With a 450-plus horsepower engine and strong lines the
near-production-ready Ford Shelby Cobra GT500 concept
shown at the 2005 New York International Auto Show made
an impression.
With strong retro design cues taken from Shelby Mustangs
of the 60's, the 2005 Shelby Cobra GT500 makes no attempt
to hide its potential for speed. The design of the new
Mustang design brought back the glamour of the muscle
car which has been sadly lacking from previous generations.
